below is our “standard” match / venue / extra info that we pass on to everyone before they visit us for a game.


Strip Details

We play in a BLUE strip for home matches

We will bring red strip and a blue strip for away matches.


Refreshment Details

This season we have so many dietary requirements in our team that we decided to not provide or require any refreshments at our matches I hope that is OK with you? 
There is a small tuk shop on site that might be open with cheap drinks and cheap snacks or Lancing town centre is 1 mile away with every kind of food / supermarkets / restaurants you can imagine.

Our home venue is situated inside the sports arena of The Sir Robert Woodard Academy Upper Boundstone Ln, Sompting, Lancing BN15 9QZ

The sports centre is inside the southern set of “drive in” gates on upper Boundstone lane,

There are no charges for parking in the car parks or on the street.


Court Details

Our fixtures are played inside a 700 seat arena so please bring as many spectators as you wish,

Our venue hosts basketball matches at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm  on almost every Saturday and sunday  of the season so we must be ready to TIP at the time that is set as other matches will be on before or after our game, we cannot delay in our starting time if the venue has other basketball matches other our scheduled match.

We will on court access at 30 minutes before tip time so please be at the venue at least 1 hour before tip so you can park / unload and be ready to roll on court as soon as the game before ours is completed.


Filming / Photography / live streaming Details

This day and age everyone is filming everything on their mobile devices, however this season some of our home matches could be filmed for ITV news, live streamed on social media channels or photographed for local press. we have all safeguarding policies for both Basketball England and GBWBA and an in place and an up to date social media policy.

Cancellation of a fixture

Unless the event of extreme weather, we follow all procedures and regulations set out in the GBWBA rules, we will always try to rearrange a match should the unexpected happen.
